does anyone have any great websites for booking an all inclusive vacation or all inclusive cruise?( preferably looking for an all inclusive cruise website) in your opinion, are all inclusives a good idea or no?
We have used http://www.orbitz.com/ to book 2 all inclusives and have been very happy with both. I use http://www.tripadvisor.com/ to evaluate the potential sites.
I think all inclusives are really great if you plan on staying at one particular place for the whole visit and that place has all you want to do. We did all inclusives in Grenada and Antigua and they were fantastic. We found everything we wanted as far as room, food, drinks, beach, etc. right at the hotel and did very little away from the hotel. If you like to go to different restaurants, etc. look at a regular package. Most all inclusives are really a good bargain because they include food and drinks as well as spa activities, etc.
Hope this helps

Try vacationstogo.com, and bookit.com. I think it varies per person. Personally I don’t like AI’s because I feel they discourage people from enjoying and partaking in activities outside of the resort, and contributing to the local economy. When I travel to other places I like to meet the locals and hang out at the local spots, and AI’s just feel too restrictive to me. As for cruises I enjoy them, and I like that it gives you a taste of different places, so you can decide which ones to revisit and explore in more detail.
