Best deals on Cruises?

I would like to go on a cruise in September. Does anyone know where I can get the best deal on a cruise out of Galveston? Also, how is the Carnival Ecstasy? Please help!
You’re not going to have a lot of choices from Galveston, so the prices aren’t going to vary all that much from one vendor to another – they don’t vary that much anyway.
Ecstasy is one of Carnival’s older ships. You can see what others think of the ship by going to CruiseCritic.com and clicking on "Reviews". Be sure and read the "Member Reviews".
You can check the usual travel websites for prices and also CruCon, VacationsToGo and, if you know which sailing you want, you can put in your information at CruiseCompete and agents will get back to you with offers.
