paid for a vacation through Caribbean cruise line. what do i do now?
I got an offer in the mail from Caribbean cruise line for:
-3 days 2 nights in Ft. Lauderdale fl.
-2 night Bahamas cruise on the Bahamas Celebration
-$50 for the cruise casino
-free rental vehicle for 7 days or $100 gas if I drive.
I decided to go for it. Paid $158 now and have to pay another $158 when I book it.I did some research and it sounds like a pretty good deal, well they told me that within 48 hours I would be able to use the code and password they gave me to look up my package details on NEW4TRAVEL.com. well the website doesn’t let me sign in so I called and first they told me there was a backup from the weekend and it would work the next day, next day came and it still didn’t work so I called again and this time they said the website was having issues and I should just ask to have it sent in the mail which would take 14 days. I am getting irritated and worried this is a scam, but I read many reviews and tons of websites that say it is not a scam. my husband and I want to go on this vacation in march so I don’t want to wait 14 days to plan and book it. Can anyone give me advice on what to do? has anyone done this with this cruise line before? PLEASE HELP??
thanks!
Caribbean Cruise lines uses one of the oldest ships around. I have heard that the service is terrible. It is something you should not do for a first cruise or you will think all are like it.

It is a con. Try to get your money back. Go to the Better Business Bureau, a local TV station, call the state Attorney General.
You can booka real cruise on a real ship for that kind of money.
Next time go to vacationstogo.com and cruisedeals.com and search all the lines and ships for the best inside cabin deal.

Heard it all before.
I’m sorry to say, it is a scam. I’d try and get your money back, but you may not get that lucky.
You should always remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it normally is.

It’s not a scam, per se, but it is also not a very good cruise. I think one of the main purposes is to get people into timeshare presentations in the Bahamas.
You can read about others’ experiences at CruiseCritic.com. Click on "Boards", then "Member Reviews" or on the cruise line’s board.
Don’t let this cruise experience turn you off to cruising, because from what I’ve read, this trip bears little resemblance to cruises on the major cruise lines.
