Which is better a cruise or all-inclusive mexican resort?
My family is planning on taking a rather big trip this year. We have tried to narrow our options to either a cruise or resort. Personally, a cruise is more appealing because of how many places there are. But then again we might stay at a resort longer. It just depends. So, I was wonder from personal experience what you though.
Well, I have been on a cruise but not to a resort like you talk about. The cruise was awesome, it was a 4 day cruise to Cozumel. We didn’t want to do anything longer because it was our first cruise and weren’t sure if we’d hate it or love it. It turned out 4 days was perfect for us.
The drinks will kill you though. All of the food was paid for and we never went hungry, but had to pay for all sodas or alcohol (which is all we drank
).
There was plenty to do on the boat. It was like a mini mall almost. There was a little store, several "bar" areas, spa, track, basketball court, mini golf course, pools, etc.
FAIR WARNING!!! With all the food so easily accesible, I gained 10 pounds in 4 days. Be careful if you are concerned about it. But, if you watch what you eat and don’t gorge yourself like we did, you should be fine.
Good luck! Enjoy your vacation!

Cruise. Consistent quality. Got to know staff and other travelers which made trip very enjoyable. Wife and I went on one of the Carnival Cruises. Ship board entertainment and food and drink were great. Different ports of call were fun. If we go again, the only thing I would change is opt for a larger cabin.

resort!! ive never personally been on a cruise, but all inclusive vacations are very sweet. thered be a real beach, real land, and regardless of whether the ammentities and entertainment on the cruise are comprable with the resort, with a resort there comes with it an "off-resort" that can be loads and loads of fun. i went to an all-inclusive in playa del carmen last summer. it was great i had a lot of fun. nice little town, too.
